Jellyfish in Space
Jellyfish in Space is a website with a CMS that Perasma built for a street food and cocktail bar in Zagreb, told as a space mission.
How it looks.

What we built.
Jellyfish in motion
Jellyfish drift across the whole site, from the home page to the cocktails.
1991
The bar's story opens with a big 1991 headline and the NASA mission.
Planets made of food
Every dish is a planet orbiting the bar's logo, with the menu right next to them.
Cocktails as scenes
Cocktails are revealed one at a time, each in its own scene.
A universe of flavours
A gallery of dishes and the bar gathers everything else, besides jellyfish, found in their universe.
A table within thumb's reach
On phones, the buttons for booking a table and the menu sit at the bottom of the screen.
Challenge
Jellyfish in Space is a street food and cocktail bar at Martićeva 71 in Zagreb. Its name and story go back to 1991, when NASA sent jellyfish into space, and the kitchen blends Latin, Mediterranean and Asian flavours.
That world had to come through on the web, and the menu had to be editable without us. It wasn't easy, but we didn't give up.
Solution
We built a small universe: a black background, serif headlines and jellyfish drifting by as you scroll. The dishes are planets orbiting the bar's logo.
We tailored the CMS to the owner, so today he changes dishes, prices and photos himself, without a developer.
