Pasta Rhymes
Pasta Rhymes is a website with a CMS that Perasma built for a hip-hop themed fresh pasta bar in Zagreb.
How it looks.

What we built.
The Spraylist
The menu is laid out as a tracklist, and every dish is a song on side A.
Side B on cassettes
Salads and focaccia are laid out on cassettes, like the B side of an album.
A record player that plays
The site has a record player that plays music, like the one in the bar where guests pick the records.
The menu in the owners' hands
The owners change dishes, prices and photos themselves, in a CMS built into the site.
Wolt and a table up front
Ordering on Wolt and booking a table are right there on the home page, on phones too.
Two languages
The whole site is available in Croatian and English.
Challenge
Pasta Rhymes is not a classic Italian restaurant. At Ulica Pavla Hatza 5 they make fresh pasta to hip-hop, the name plays on Busta Rhymes, and guests put on records while they wait.
We're hip-hop lovers ourselves, so this was a match made in heaven. The website had to sound like the bar, not like yet another restaurant with a photo of a plate and its opening hours.
Solution
We carried the red field, heavy black lettering and stickers from the brand identity over to the web and set them in motion: the stickers peel off, the menu spins like a record, and the music plays just like in the bar.
Our CMS runs underneath, so anything that changes every week doesn't have to wait for us.
